Young Lawyers Forum (Kashmir) organized a legal awareness camp in collaboration with G.R. Beigh Memorial Trust at Tanghdar and adjoining areas, in Karnah area of Kupwara District, J&K. The awareness camp was kickstarted at the Dak Bunglow, Tanghdar on 7^th of August and continued in the Teatwal area of Karnah on the 8^th of August.

On the occasion, four members of the society, namely, Mohammad Khurram Qureshi, Tuyyab Malik, Haris Mir & Ahmad Basaud were present from the organization and interacted with more than two hundred locals. During the interactions, the local population was made aware about the legal rights and duties, some important legislations and schemes provided by the Government vis-à-vis healthcare. Besides, pamphlets containing simplified legal information were also circulated.

“We conducted the camp as part of our legal awareness campaign to acquaint the people with their rights & duties, some of the important laws and schemes related to health. We consider it a privilege that were able to connect with the local population and interact with them.” - Mr Khurram Qureshi.
